Bordering on the Black Mountains and Mountains of Arrée Rosnoën is a common triangular bathed by the Alder, the Faou River and the Bay of Brest.
The 23 miles of coastline will appeal to walkers. The estuary of the Alder, waterway, fish, embedded in lush greenery, is home to birds of all species. If you are browsing the marked hiking trails, you'll be surprised and delighted, from the discovery of its coastal resources, to those from its heights, spectacular scenery.

The constituents are the pen, the cemetery, the Cross cemetery, ossuary, the memorials. The remarkable feature is the porch. The fresco of the Te Deum (classification of the fresco in the prestigious list of Historical Monuments) of its author P. Cann. The ossuary (seventeenth century) which now houses the library. Calvary (1648) by sculptor Roland Doré (sculptor of the King in Brittany) located on the church square, 6 m high, had two spider before its restoration.
Poudrière de l'île d'Arun : Poudrière construite au fond de la rade de Brest sur un îlot d'environ 4000 m² entre 1693 et 1694 sur l'ordre de Desclouzeaux, intendant de la marine à Brest." onmouseover="this.style.backgroundColor='#ebeff9'" onmouseout="this.style.backgroundColor='#fff'">> Powder Island Arun: Powder built at the bottom of the harbor of Brest on an island of about 4000 square meters between 1693 and 1694 of approximately Desclouzeaux, intendant of the navy at Brest. The building was used for drying, storage and protection of new powder produced in the blowing of Pont-de-Buis. The stone arch at the apparent origin, was covered with a frame and a slate roof in the 19th century. Decommissioned in 1914, the island and buildings were sold at auction in 1927.
