TOWN PRESENTATION

Located southeast of the city of Toulouse, is a common Ramonville peri-urban part of the inner suburbs of Toulouse.

Ramonville-Saint-Agne is very well served in terms of transport, and there are several bus lines, from Toulouse, but also the terminus of the B line subway.

Ramonville can also be reached by road from Narbonne (former national 113) which crosses the southern district of Toulouse Rangueil (CHU, Université Paul Sabatier) or the outer ring road from Toulouse in Bordeaux and Montpellier (exit 19).

For history, the origin of the name of the town come from 4th Earl Raymond of Toulouse who had his domain (Castle Soule). The word comes from Saint-Agne Saint-Aignan, patron of the parish, Bishop of Orleans, who in 451 rescued this city besieged by Attila.
