The village is located about 3 km from the capital of Canton. Ramecourt is a small rural village in the Vosges, lulled by the rill of Val d'Arol. It offers anglers the joys of trout fishing and for the rest of the family fun of its banks exposed to the sun. Orchards, parks for grazing, hedges and shrubbery provide a pleasant green and quiet countryside. Everything is conducive to the itinerary to discover the flora, fauna and surrounding villages. It is claimed that the original village dates back to the time of Roman colonization. The village was formed at the cross roads connecting to Mirecourt and Neufchâteau Ravenelle to Poussay.
