Regional Nature Park of Verdon, Holiday Green Station, the village of Quinson is located in a transition zone between the Alps and the Mediterranean. The Museum of Prehistory of the Gorges du Verdon
The Museum of Prehistory of the Gorges du Verdon Quinson was implanted in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional du Verdon in 2001. Designed by architect Norman Foster associated museographer Bruno Chiambretto and after a specification established by the initiator of the project scientist, Professor H. Lumley, with a total floor space of 4,274 m² over two levels, the museum is one of the largest museums of prehistoric Europe. It has been designed for all types of users: general public, educational and scientific purposes. It contains the results of more than 50 years of archaeological excavations on a sixty sites.
The permanent exhibition about one million years of human history in Provence in an often spectacular play but also scientifically rigorous. Archaeological sites in a natural setting, a museum and go back in time to meet its origins, a prehistoric village to find the actions of our ancestors, is the proposed trip by the Museum of Prehistory of the Gorges du Verdon.

Fishing: Lakes and Quinson Esparron are two reservoirs of 190 ha and 355 ha, cut and inserted in a verdant landscape. There is fishing for predators: pike, perch and whitefish in the family fishing. Fishing licenses are available at Goustaroun.
Climbing: Quinson site includes nearly 200 channels with free access, equipped 3b to 8b, slabs, sloping in several lengths, from the water, or easy access bartassant not bad. Provencal Market: On the course, every Sunday morning at Quinson stands a small market (vegetables, goat cheese ...). An itinerant fishmonger is this Wednesday morning, and a block on Tuesday morning at 10:30 on the course as well. Truck pizza on Wednesdays from 18h on the Place de la Mairie.

In May: Pilgrimage to Sainte-Maxime: Quinson, like most villages of Provence celebrates its patron saints every year. Santa Rosalia in Sainte Maxime in August and May. The latter gives rise each year, the following Saturday May 16, to a pilgrimage. Under the leadership of the prieuresse Quinson, this festival is to move the relics of the saint and go to a chapel located 5 km on the edge of the plateau overlooking the Verdon Mallasoque.
