The small town of Queyssac-les-Vignes is located just south of the Corrèze, between Upper Quercy and Limousin. The village, with the church and tower (remnant of the old fortress), is positioned on a ridge with steep slopes overlooking the Dordogne valley. Lies just below the hamlet of Queyssac Netherlands, with its chapel of St. Blaise from the 11th century.

As its name suggests, the village is well known for its wine Paille (white or red sweet wine that is usually eaten as an appetizer).

Other traditional products are also developed: the high calf before weaning, walnuts, fish and strawberries in particular.
