A true wine village, located 3 km south of Arbois, on the Wine Route du Jura, Pupillin is referred to as "World Capital of Ploussard" grape of the superb terroir of origin Pupillin.

It is very pleasant to walk in the streets of the village at the beautiful floral displays (flower label 3) focusing on the theme of wine.

• You will discover:

• At the southern entrance of the village gazebo with a picnic area, observation booth and its orientation table where you get a panoramic view of the vineyard and Pupillin finage Jura.
• At the northern entrance: the vine with the teacher five Jura grape varieties and the 19th century church.
• Path of the vines, the oratory of St. Leger at the foot of which crossed the line.
• From beautiful fountains including the Doves with its slate roof and its basins, its flowers pond (fed by a source: the Barbière).
• Rue Chardonnay: a sundial and a beautiful fresco winemaker.

• Activities:

• Hikers and mountain bikers can explore the whole territory of the commune with three marked trails for six to eight kilometers each, from the center of the village.
• Essentially wine, the village has a dozen independent wine and about forty members in the fruit wine cultivating 120 hectares of vineyards. They produce and offer the full range of Arbois AOC-Pupillin. All year, the winemakers are embracing tourists and lovers of fine wines in their wine cellars to explain, glass in hand, the secrets of wine grape varieties.
• If you hunger surprise, a typical inn allows you to sample the local cuisine.

Each year sees the third Sunday of September, the traditional festival of Biou. The winemakers go in procession to offer a bunch majestic St. Leger, first fruit of their harvest.
