His former mine galena (silver lead) restored and saved in 2008 at a place called "Mines". Information from the mayor or the Land & Nature +33 6 70 65 50 30.

In fact, there were several mines of galena (lead sulphide silver) on the common Propières. 7 were still visible in the early 20th century. The latter, which closed in 1906, was still available until 2005. Its entrance blocked by successive colluvial landslides between 2005 and 2007, was reopened fully fitted and protected by heavy work of the association Terre & Nature in September 2008. Since then, the gallery is once again accessible to all on 80 meters and its full development (200 m) to scientists and protectors of this mining heritage.

Access to the mine is highly regulated (at the entrance gate). Inquire at City Hall.
