Poilhes (Polhes in Occitan) is a French commune located in the department of Herault and the Languedoc-Roussillon.

Its inhabitants are called Poilhes and Poilhaises.

Located on a hill, the village of Poilhes is crossed by the Canal du Midi. It overlooks a large pond that of Capestang. This village is also below the oppidum Ensérune.

• The elm Sully, venerable tree planted in 1608 near the village square. The hollow trunk is supported by a metal belt and the largest branches is supported by a concrete structure.
• Two British guns laid on blocks of stone on the bank of the Canal du Midi, the guns were found by an amateur diver off the coast of Agde, a few years and then stored in a pool of fresh water only to be given to the common.
• The Via Domitia, the remains of the Roman road are still visible in the eastern part of the municipal territory, towards the hamlet of Viala (D37E5).
• The field of Régismont around the winery in operation, many vestiges of the Roman presence was discovered. The site was a historical monument in 1937 and we can see many sarcophagi dating from the beginning of our era and remains Aurignacian. To the fourth century, the first Christian church was built on the current site of the field but was destroyed around the 15th century.
