TOWN PRESENTATION

Plomeur is a town in bloom, as evidenced by the flowers that adorn the streets, planters and village houses.

Plomeur is not far from ports and St. Guilvinec Guénolé, and is located near the tip of the torch, where surfers like to practice their sport.

The town offers a rich cultural heritage, with its 18 chapels and megalithic monuments (dolmens and menhirs).

SIGHTSEEING

The magnificent views.
The coastal area and its trails (generally accessible to all). You will see many petrels and gannets. With a lookout post to watch the birds without disturbing them.
Walk on the beach at low tide, fishing possibilities on foot.
The tip of the torch is a paradise for surfers. The waves can reach a height of three meters, just like a little further towards the area Tronoën. At the tip of the torch is a current special, called "lift". Using this current, surfers can move across the width of the waves, without much effort.
You can also enjoy other water sports like windsurfing, kite surfing, canoeing and jet skiing. For those who must learn everything, particularly for young people, there is the Torch a surf school.

EVENTS AND CELEBRATIONS

In spring, the tip of the torch, let yourself be dazzled by a feria color and fragrance of hyacinths, tulips and other bulb flowers.
Entire month of April, the Flower Festival is held. With a monument carved in bluebells, flower shows and mosaics which each year attract thousands of visitors.
