Plestin-les-Grèves (Plistin) is a rural community of about 3500 inhabitants (nearly 10 000 in summer).
Located on the north coast of Brittany on the border between the Cotes d'Armor and Finistère, it is mid-way between Morlaix and Lannion (20 km).
Geographically located in the historic Trégor, Plestin-les-Grèves commune is the capital of the canton and depends on the district in Lannion and the department of Côtes-d'Armor (Trégor - Britain). It is part of the Community of agglomeration Lannion-Trégor.
The town is heavily wooded and hilly terrain. It is crossed by four rivers. Plestin-les-Grèves has a beautiful coastline with a small marina and several sandy beaches spread over two bays, including the famous Strand League flanked by his legendary Big Rock.
The village, away from the D 786 (Lannion, Morlaix) was renovated in the late 20th century. It is paved with old. The center includes a full set of small shops along the South Hall and a square surrounding the parish church dedicated to Saint Efflam north.
The habitat of both sides of main roads gradually disperses when leaving the town to both the inland and toward the sea, urbanization has been controlled so far.
The Baths of Gallo-Roman Hogolo. This spa building which dates from the year 50, on a remarkably preserved coastal dune, was excavated during the excavation of 1981et restored in 1992.
Beaches: The beach of cure, rock silver creek Pors Mellec and the long beach of St Efflam.
