Pauillac is located midway between Bordeaux and the Pointe de Grave, along the largest estuary in Europe: the Gironde.

This is the undisputed capital of the Médoc wine with 18 Great Classified Growths whose first 3 (Chateaux Lafite Rothschild, Latour and Mouton Rothschild), only minutes from beach resorts.

• Visits to castles are very popular with visitors. Some of them offer art exhibitions (Chateau Lynch Bages, Chateau Pédesclaux) or museums (Chateau Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande and his collection of ancient glass, Chateau Mouton Rothschild and wine museum in the Art).
• For small and large, the Little Museum of Automata representing animals in human life.
• The city of Pauillac custody remains of its history: Saint Martin, Plaza La Fayette, formerly covered market rectory, marina, cave Artigues.
• Not to forget, the old hamlet restored and dedicated to the art of hospitality in the Medoc, the village of Bages.

• The art week takes place from February Pauillac Pole cultural Pauillac. 12 artists present the Médoc. Numerous exhibitions and demonstrations.
• The weekend open house castles (castles Spring) take place in April in the Medoc. Many castles offer exceptionally diverse entertainment.
• Tour'billon holidays: giant garage sale, empty basement. The feast of lamb and wine Pauillac: in May This festival brings together several original events such as the flea, transhumance, the induction, shearing sheep and many others.

• Every Thursday from mid-July to late August, a meeting with the growers is held in the Hall of schooners the Tourist and Wine Pauillac.

• Music and wine: in August. In the gardens of the House Tourism and Wine Pauillac facing the estuary, tasting, food and music are featured.
