Parfondeval village was part of the Manor of Rozoy-Cel. It was a lordship of Coucy-Vervins then the Count of Valen in the 18th century.

Quiet in his campaign, Parfondeval is an agricultural village, and bucolic country setting, surrounded by cows, corn fields, apple orchards and pastures. The beauty and serenity of its heritage charm many a visitor and will give everyone the illusion of being really in the country.

The houses are aligned Parfondeval artistically around the church. You can see all the houses of red brick and slate roofs.

• The church of Saint Médard:

• The fortified church Saint Médard, the 16th century built during the reign of two kings. A remarkable church, architecture second to none.
• The church is all red brick and has a beautiful white stone portal Renaissance. Above this portal an arch with jaws supports a walkway connecting the two towers. These two towers equipped with deadly defend the entrance and the north-south sides. A kind of walkway a hole was used to pour shots.

• It dates from the 19th century and was built in 1858 by Jules Touchart, architect of Laon.
• History bell: Since May 9, 1928, the evangelical church has a bell Parfondeval serves no purpose. Here's inscription: "To the glory of God and in memory of his beloved sister Mary Barton-Paxton." This bell is made to the church by Katharine Parfondeval Rubert-Paxton. In 1827: Fondue by the son of G. Paccard in Annecy. This event for the Evangelical Temple did not result in any ceremony.
