Restricts the department of Herault (Capestan neighboring municipality), on the road to Béziers and Carcassonne in the north west.

Rich history dating back to medieval village whose heart keeps part of its fortifications around the Romanesque church that is worth visiting. The houses around (in the place called "Fort") have kept track of the fortifications on which they are supported, so the narrow winding streets they espouse the contour of the walls.

Foncalvy: outside the village, vineyards, stands an imposing "barn" Cistercian who served on the broad field of Fontfroide Abbey, a few miles from Narbonne. Of music days are held each summer.

The Church of St. John the Evangelist, of Lombard-Romanesque style. Its construction began in 1090 on the site of a Carolingian chapel. The interior is practically covered with paintings and patterns mainly 18th and 19th centuries.

Concert "Restos du Coeur" Cave Cooperative Ouveillan turns every summer into a theater. Jean Jacques Goldman, Francis Cabrel, Pascal Obispo Patricia Kaas, and many others are mobilized every year for this annual concert.

Foncalvy Festival: For more than twenty years, the association organizes a series of performances in the summer, shows telling the story of villagers in medieval times with imagination. Other musical genres or stage are also offered on several evenings and always in the beautiful setting of the "Barn."

In the village, in the fall, the harvest festival takes place over one day ended with a meal with local flavors.
