Nexon, capital of Canton is a town of 2474 inhabitants located 25 km south of Limoges, ranked "2 flowers" at the National Competition of Flowering. City gate of Parc Naturel Périgord-Limousin, Nexon is also a stop on the Route Richard Coeur de Lion. Common very dynamic Nexon has a rich social fabric and a variety of shops. The church of the 12th and 15th centuries, open access, is the remains of fortifications such as the bell tower and stone Breteche. Inside you can admire the reliquary bust of Saint Ferréol 16th century and a shrine of the 13th century enamelled copper.

Several interesting sites exist around Nexon. Castle Lastours part of the tourist route "Richard the Lionheart" is visible from the road in the town of Rilhac-Lastours. Visits to the torch, medieval events and camps are organized during the summer. On the same common is the "Garden of the millennium," medieval garden free access all year round.
