Monastery takes its name from the ancient Benedictine monastery, who settled there in 997.

The church, the Romanesque choir and the Gothic porch, a former Benedictine monastery, and his remarkable baroque woodwork, conducted between 1673 and 1681 by Simon Bouer and his team.

The village, quiet and pleasant along the Creuse crossed by a bridge called "Roman", quite curious and typical Limousin.

Guided tours are held on Tuesday afternoons in July and August at 15:30. For groups, they are available all year by reservation at the Tourist Office on +33 5 55 62 55 93.

In summer, many exhibitions are opening their doors in the village (painters, photographers ...).

The weekend of the Ascension, half-marathon.

The third weekend of December the village becomes a Christmas market in a majestic setting.

Ahun: Pre-Romanesque crypt, Romanesque church, baroque carvings and Pieta, stone garden Jacques Lagrange.
