Montigny-lès-Arsures is the largest wine village of Jura and the capital of the Trousseau grape red typical of the Jura.

Louis Pasteur had a vineyard on the territory of Montigny-lès-Arsures, one can still see it. She is now at the Academy of Sciences following the donation of the family home of Pastor made in their favor by the Friends of Pasteur in 1993.

One can also discover the church dating from the 12th century, and the various castles and religious buildings.
