Spa specializes in the treatment of respiratory, rheumatology and cures fitness Montbrun-les-Bains also has the distinction of being ranked among the most beautiful villages in France.

Tall houses six or seven levels, supported by buttresses built on the rock and by powerful arches, terraced one above the other like a huge set of organs and are dominated by the ruined towers of the Renaissance castle of Dupuy -Montbrun.

Since October 2011, is also ranked Montbrun-les-Bains green holiday resort.

• The Church: the beautiful church dates from the 12th century, strongly altered, contains a beautiful and impressive altarpiece of the 17th Bernus at its center a painting by Pierre Parrocel representing a Madonna and Child.
• The castle of Dupuy-Montbrun (fourteenth century): medieval castle demolished in 1560, it was rebuilt by Charles Dupuy Montbrun in 1564 in pure Renaissance style. It is flanked by four round towers, of which 3 are still in good condition. The main door or gate of honor, cut in the rock, shows two half-round columns: on the left was carved an eagle, and on the right, a lion. Its imposing ruins overlooking the medieval village attest to the power of the Lord at the time.
• The Belfry (fourteenth century): the clock tower - or the Belfry - was one of four fortified gates built in the 14th century, close to the city. High square tower, terminated by a cantilevered platform on three sides, it is topped by a campanile. Flanked by a beautiful fountain, it now gives access to the highest houses of the village, its church and castle ruins.
• The portal Ste-Marie (fourteenth century): St Mary the door - or north portal - is one of four fortified gates that protected Montbrun. The three other doors being that of the Clastre (under the arch of the church), that the Belfry (Bell Tower Square), and the castle. These entries sometimes with harrows reflect the defensive nature of the old village.
