Mollkirch is a town of 920 inhabitants in mid-mountain at 350 m above sea level on average.
Mollkirch has a history rich enough, because the village is closely linked to his castle, Guirbaden, which is perched at a strategic point overlooking the valley of the Magel. - The chapel itself Kloesterle (literally small monastery) is the oldest building on the inhabited part of Mollkirch.
