History:

This small village whose origin is not specified, will see a greater recognition through a village that depended on the hamlet of Ford Lian. In the 12th century the Knights Templar were founded a Preceptory. The Knights Templar will be replaced, following its dissolution by Philippe le Bel and Pope, the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem. This depended Commandery many infirmaries and some chaplains. In 1793, everything was sold as national property. Luckily many buildings have been preserved.

The Church of Our Lady of the Assumption: this building has kept the 12th century many aspects such as openings, small volumes and the tower saddle. Belonging to different families over the centuries, in the 1770s that Father Brice Ponthuault began its restoration and construction of the rectory.

The Commandery (privately owned): 12th overall which was originally completely fortified and which remains today a few things like the imposing main building and chapel.
