Matour, nicknamed "Little Switzerland of Macon" is a small village of 1 026 inhabitants located in the heart of medium green mountains (Mont Saint-Cyr 800 m, highest peak in southern Burgundy, Mont Saint-Rigaud 1 012 m?), at the southern end of Burgundy at the crossroads between Charolais, Beaujolais, Cluny and Macon.

A quick and easy access by motorway A6 Paris-Lyon Road Atlantic Center Europe (RN 79) and Macon-TGV station Loché located within 20 minutes.
