Masevaux is the capital of Canton. The town is located in the southernmost valley of the Vosges dominated by the Ballon d'Alsace to 1247 m high and Bers 1250 m altitude.

With its downtown pedestrian Masevaux became a city very welcoming. City to 4 flowers she received the Grand Prix National bloom since 2000.
