TOWN PRESENTATION

Lormes is located in the department of Nièvre, in the heart of the Burgundy region, in the Morvan Regional Natural Park. It is located 30 km south of Avallon and 25 km from Vezelay, World Heritage of UNESCO. Lormes is part of the Community of Municipalities of the Portes du Morvan with 10 municipalities.

SIGHTSEEING

Mount of Justice: Located 1 km from the village, this beautiful view has a viewpoint and reading tables of the landscape.

Discovery tour of the village Lormes is a pearl in a setting of granite that can be discovered through a book given free to the Tourist Office of Morvan Lakes located Lormes. You will better enjoy this city full of treasures sometimes hidden. Lormes offered to the curious who take the time to discover the village of the Morvan. Pond Neck: Stretch of water at the exit of Lormes (direction Château-Chinon). Nearby are the petanque, camping and restaurant (housed in the old station of Tacot). These activities vary depending on time of year. Narvau Gorge: Located on the outskirts of the village of Lormes, they will delight in all seasons (site open all year and free). With family, friends or alone, just browse its hiking trails and enjoy the waterfall. Possibility of climbing (bring your own equipment).
