The village is crossed by Loriol-du-Comtat the Mede (20 km) and Bregoux (19 km), which is joining the general form Vallatpuis Grand Levade (8 km).
Located in the heart of Provence, in plain Comtadine, Loriol-du-Comtat commune, which has 2,400 inhabitants and an area of 1129 hectares and a height of 63 meters, is located 5 minutes from Carpentras (5 km) and 15 minutes of Avignon (20 km).
Its territory consists of hills and ancient marshlands, drained largely by monks from Mazan (Ardèche).
You can still see the option of walking a few ancient witnesses of old mulberry cultivation of silkworms.
