Longessaigne The village has existed for over 1000 years in its current site. Etymologically, Longessaigne from Long and bleeding mean vast expanses of meadows. The church was founded in the 13th century.

• The Church:

• It is Romanesque (built 730-750) and has a wooden roof renovated in the 1990s. The sculptures of the facade were made by ladies.
• The tower was rebuilt in an unusual way for the region. We find this feature on the logo of the town. Rounder, he has five old bells and four clock faces. • "The Tunnel": Located near the multi-sports field and updated by an association, this long tunnel of 140 meters, is a vestige of the line of railway L'Arbresle / Panissières whose construction began in 1906 and was interrupted by the Great War. This should be a path metric that would include a spur to hostels with the way Pontcharra / Sainte-Foy-L 'Argentiere.
• The Tower of Canet: It is one of the last vestiges of the Middle Ages, since it was part of a castle built by Anguent Canet, page of Louis XV. The village was then retained the name.

• Fair Sainte Blandine:

• Each year in May, the fair hosts a thirty exhibitors (crafts, flowers?).
• Entertainment is available during the day and lunch is served at noon in a tent.
