Former summer residence of the bishops of Toul, Liverdun is very long a resort town, known as the small Deauville during the Belle Epoque when swimming in the Moselle were still allowed. Liverdun is also famous for its culinary specialty: madeleines.

The medieval town perched on a rocky outcrop offers breathtaking views of the loop of the Moselle.

The Tourist Office organizes guided tours through the streets and houses Renaissances days also discovered visiting the area with Blue Waters.

The loop of the Moselle is a privileged site for fishermen, particularly around the islands of the esplanade of the mill. A rowing club offers initiations in summer.

Beyond the dam base allows all jet ski boating practices. There is a marked trail of sport. The area is protected by the prefecture. The base has a boat launch for trailers.

The Medieval Festival, traditionally the third Sunday in May, from 10am to 20pm. Day exotic ensured the heart of the medieval city through the reconstruction of scenes of life, old market and various animations. This event can immerse themselves in a world 500 years ago.
