The city of Vans is at the crossroads of the Cevennes and the Ardeche Southern which combines olive and chestnut trees near the river Chassezac. It is a welcoming and lively town where you can stroll through the streets and go to discover its history ... In 2001, Les Vans became "gateway city" Parc Naturel Régional des Monts d'Ardèche.

In the city you can visit the museum space that houses three museums: the Museum Ollier (Father of orthopedic surgery), an exhibition on the olive tree, and the museum Evesque about archeology, geology and local crafts .
