The municipality of Lembras is located 6 km north of Bergerac, and enjoys easy access from the employment centers of Bergerac. This proximity greatly influenced its recent evolution to a residential use more and more pronounced. Its population is well served by the presence in the village of several shops and services. Lembras occupies an area of 1059 hectares, bordered on the south by the valley of Caudeau and extending to the northeast is an undulating plateau occupied by large forested areas. The wine business is very present with two controlled appellations: Pécharmant and Bergerac.
A little history ... The name of Lembras (Grangia of Lembraco) appears for the first time in a terrier of the 12th century, the terrier is to register profits of an ecclesiastical district.
