Spa town, medieval city and capital of Gascony melon, Lectoure has a rich heritage plural and singular.

Stop on the way to Saint Jacques de Compostela, this historic town is perched on a rocky outcrop surrounded by 3.2 miles of ramparts overlooking the valley of the Gers.

From architectural point of view, Lectoure is a gem because it retains many buildings that testify to its history. The main street of the city is lined with homes and mansions built between the 17th and 19th centuries.

In addition, the city has nine buildings protected as historical monuments and 30 houses of the Middle Ages inventoried.
