• The common Pecq is located in a loop of the Seine. This is the only city with Paris and Rouen, to be built on both banks of the river. It extends over 292 hectares and its altitude is 25 meters along the Seine to 97.65 meters at Vignes-Benettes. January 1, 2012, the city was home to 16,744 Alpicois name given to its inhabitants. It is part of the district of Saint-Germain-en-Laye and is the capital of the canton.
• History:

Post-war reconstruction would make the population evolve rapidly: nearly 7000 inhabitants in 1955, 10,000 in 1960, more than 16,000 in 1970, a figure around which it has now stabilized.

• Architectural Heritage:

• Church of Saint-Wandrille: 18th (presbytery, XIX). The present church, a triangular pediment, was built by architect Sebastian from January 1739 on the site of a former church.
