TOWN PRESENTATION

The town of Mesnil-Esnard is located in the department of Seine-Maritime and the Haute-Normandie region. It belongs to the Canton of Boos and the district of Rouen.

Located on the plateau east of Rouen area, at an average altitude of 150 meters between the valleys of the Seine and Aubette, Le Mesnil-Esnard this terrain very marked except the beginning of the valley of Val des Bois the deer. This area very quadrangular plan covers an area of 507 ha. Bordered on the north by the municipalities of Bonsecours and Saint-Léger-du-Bourg-Denis, on the east by Saint-Aubin-Epinay and Franqueville-Saint-Pierre and then south and west by Belbeuf and Amfreville it Half-Way.

The town is part of the Community of Agglomeration Rouennaise which has 37 municipalities.

Its inhabitants are Mesnillais and Mesnillaises.

SIGHTSEEING

Notre Dame: Quibel Place, Church Street. The foundations of the church back to the 12th century. Leonardo and Leonardo Murialdo Noblat are the patrons of the parish.

Church of St. John Bosco: Given the geographical spread, the abbot Catoix, decided in 1964 to build a church in the neighborhood Neuvillette, project entrusted to Mr. Robinson, architect of Rouen. The work of the church began January 2, 1971 and the church was dedicated October 30, 1971.
