Castle, park and gardens of Lude:
The castle is situated on the banks of the Loir at the crossroads of Maine, Touraine and Anjou, and is the first of the castles of the Loire, from the north. Strategic location to defend Anjou, the legendary Bluebeard deliver them successfully combat.
Surprising by its imposing stature and its architectural treasures, it is a rare testimony of six centuries of French architecture. Since the 10th century, this fortress will not cease to be embellished by its owners, the same family for 250 years. Park development began in the 17th century with the large terrace. Events punctuate the life of the castle, as the festival of Gardening Days or Gourmet.

The third weekend of September, Le Lude in Sarthe, wakes up to the Renaissance. The program for this weekend (free entertainment) marched through the streets with costumes of the era, then current market with old trades (dentellière. ..), street (Archery, host of Street), Renaissance dances, singing with the choir of the Renaissance Lude meals.
