• The Day Romerage in September, revived an old local tradition, when the Lavandou was still a small fishing hamlet attached to Bormes. Once a year, the villagers were celebrating their religious patron - St. Clair - by organizing a long and solemn procession through the streets. Since 1996, the Saint Clair, east of Lavandou, welcomes the bust of the Saint, also patron of seamstresses and whose legend he has the power to cure blindness. Punctuated trombonnades, drop on the beach, singing and dancing, the procession led participants to the church of Saint-Louis in front of the chapel of St. Clair (2 miles).
