It was April 24, 1906, that the proposal of Georges Clemenceau, Minister of the Interior, Fallières Armand, President of the Republic, signed a decree dividing the town of Beauregard in two separate municipalities. The new joint is called Bersac. In 1922, it will take the name of the Lardin then merged with the municipality of Saint-Lazare in 1967 to take the current name: Le Lardin-Saint-Lazare.
