Le Hézo owes its origin to the creation in the mid-twelfth of a priory by the Benedictine monks of the Abbey of St Gildas de Rhuys.
The coastline of the town is bordered by a coastal path that will lead to the discovery of five fountains, the most notable being that of St. Vincent of Saragossa, patron saint of winegrowers. His reliquary bust is visible in the church of the same name.
On the circuit, Hézo pond, owned by the department, has a refuge for nesting birds in the Gulf of Morbihan (observatory).
Not to be missed, the cider museum. It traces the pathways of transformation of apple products (taste and buy locally produced).
- The Church of St. Vincent (XIX).
- The Fountain St. Vincent (XIX).
- Public School (XIX).
- The tide mill (XVIIIth century).
- The old salt marshes.
- Music Festival.
- Ball and fireworks July 14.
- Christmas market (mid-December).
- Forgiveness of St Vincent.
- Week of the Gulf every second year (the weekend of the Ascension).
