Le Conquet, city and port of character.

Historic city at the tip of Brittany, Le Conquet houses treasures of history and maritime heritage: historic center, streets lined with small restaurants and art studios, a busy fishing port with a fleet of about thirty boats, the starting point for the islands of Ouessant and Mullein, to natural landscapes intact and beautiful, long beaches and coves??

• The historic center: a heritage interpretation trail will guide you in the heart of historic houses from the 16th and 17th century along the old wharf Drellac'h and its many alleyways. One recognizes without difficulty to their stone facades and exterior stairs.
• The Peninsula Kermorvan: This nature reserve, separated from downtown and the port from the estuary, offers a breathtaking view on the Iroise Sea and its islands.
• Kermorvan Lighthouse: Located at the tip of the peninsula, it is not open to the public, but worth a look: it is one of the most in the west of France with the Point Corsen.
• The fishing port: Port fishing nationally recognized for catching crustaceans (crabs, spiders) and noble fish (monkfish, skate, turbot and brill). "Lean Konk" (the Conquet Brittany) with about thirty fishing boats waiting for you in the late afternoon on the harbor.
• Beaches:

• Wear, The caw, Porzilogan, The Bilu, strike the blue Porz Pabu (accessible only on foot), small sandy beaches along the coast, accessible by the coastal path or road tourism Conquet at Pointe St. Mathieu.
• Beach Sablons whites, the largest beach in the area (2.5 km long) located on the peninsula Kermorvan can practice surfing, windsurfing or kite-surfing.
• The estuary Conquet between the center of the peninsula Kermorvan is a paradise for birdwatchers and botanists. Ranked Natura 2000, a space discovery of Europe's natural heritage to the exceptional richness. Guided nature walks and marked trails help you discover this unspoilt.

• Maritime Heritage Protected: the Iroise Marine Natural Park. A first for preserving marine resources. The first of its kind in France, the Iroise Marine Natural Park covers nearly 3,500 square kilometers, south of the island of Sein north of Ushant, off and reached the limits of French territorial waters. At the confluence of the Channel and the Atlantic, the Iroise offers a natural and cultural heritage of national and European level. This area concentrates a large number of landscapes representative of the marine environment Breton. The diversity of these landscapes associated with many sites inaccessible for much of the year, explains why the Iroise is a safe haven for many species of fish, seabirds, whales, dolphins and seals.
