Le Chambon is a Protestant village who courageously hid Jewish families during WWII.

It is among others famous for his huge golf course with its tree climbing (one of the largest in Europe), the International College or his tennis club that has attracted major players at its tournaments.

In addition to this, Le Chambon dominates the Lignon, a beautiful river beside which the town has built a range of lawn with volleyball poles.
