Le Bessat is located at 1241 m altitude and is a hub for scenic walks. It is also a visit with many tourist restaurants.

From the center of the village of Bessat you can make walks: 3 marked trails: the balcony Rochettes, Thoil the castle ruins, the water sources.

Take the D8, left side, towards the Jasserie to discover a wonderful view (there is paragliding) and taste the blueberry pies, specialty of the region.

Filer to Saint-Etienne by the collar of the Republic, stunning views, the N82.

Get off on the right, by the D8 Graix - Saint-Julien-Molin-wheel through the mountains and woods towards Bourg-Argental.

Go straight towards the D63 Pélussin through Pilat to discover the Cret de la Perdrix, the neck of the Oeillon ... If you like strange paths go through the saws.

Return to Saint-Chamond by D2 and lakes of Valla-en-Gier.
