DETAILED INFORMATION

The castles of the Cathar castles Lastours are four located on the town of Lastours in the department of Aude. These four buildings are perched on a rocky outcrop above the village, isolated by the valleys of the Orbiel and Grésilhou. They are built to 300 meters in the same axis: Cabaret, Tour Régine, and Surdespine Quertinheux. The site is classified as a historical monument since 1905 and excavations are still active.
