Situated on a plateau overlooking the gorges of the Dordogne and Luzège, the present village lies along a main road along which lies a rich heritage all: the castle called "Rouby," the Mansion ( sixteenth century), now headquarters of the Community of Communes Ventadour, church, construction of medieval neo last quarter of the 19th century, which houses the treasures of medieval jewelry and enamels previously kept in the Limousin churches neighboring municipalities (Laval-sur-Luzège, Saint-Pantaleon-de-Lapleau, Lafage-sur-Sombre, and Saint-Hilaire-Foissac), and finally, near the village, the impressive viaduct of the Black Rocks (classified MH 2000) which spans the deep gorges of Luzège.
