Laigné-en-Belin covers 1240 hectares. At the last census, the population was 2198 inhabitants.
The houses are mostly clustered in urban areas with the center of town up a large flower. - Key remnants of its history:
- The Chanterie current mayor, a former mansion built in the 16th century on an estate belonging to the clergy already under Charlemagne, served as a summer residence of the great Bard of the cathedral of Le Mans.
