Battle of Mount side of the dog's head, with a view of Mont Agel, beautiful and dominating at 1150 meters, La Turbie overlooking Monaco, with a single opening on the Mediterranean, from Italy to the foothills of the Esterel.
Ideally located between Nice and Menton, its territory, which covers 742 hectares, is bordered with several common: Cap d'Ail, Beausoleil, Peille, Eze, Monaco and The Trinity.
Despite its development that began with the arrival of winter visitors to the Riviera, has preserved La Turbie, next to a downtown commercial and entertainment, the soul of a true village.
La Turbie is named after the monument Trophy of Augustus, which you can visit the ruins, the new interactive museum and beautiful park that opens onto the sea gigantic monument was built 2000 years ago by the Romans to glorify the Emperor Auguste, who won the last rebel tribes of the Alps. Since September 18, 2004, La Turbie is twinned with the town of Sarre in the Aosta Valley (Italy).
La Turbie retains evidence of its past admirable: Trophy at the foot of the picturesque medieval village with cobblestone streets and beautiful stone houses, outside the walls, the beautiful baroque church of Saint-Michel (XVIII), the Roman remains, and many other treasures.

The Musical Trophy: This festival of classical music mainly takes place in July inside the Trophy.
Soup with pesto: This summer tradition organized by the Festival Committee is advocated by the Turbiasques. It takes place July 13, the eve of National Day.
The Summer of the General Council: Each year some very fine performances in the Trophy of the Alps are open free to all.
Trophy Race: Race walking is open to all, it offers a varied and athletic, a distance of 19.1 kilometers and 300 meters of elevation gain, through the Natural Park of the Grande Corniche of 13 km.
Halloween: La Turbie is one of the few towns where the festival continues to be very successful: more than 200 children every year!
