Small town of 17 ha, La Ferrière-sur-Risle is between Bernay and Evreux and the way the Normandy coast. Norman typical village in the Middle Ages called La Ferrière-sur-Risle Ferraria. It takes its name from nearby iron ore deposits. In the 13th century the village was very successful and many shops had settled where the names of certain streets as "the street of huchiers". The famous chemist and metallurgist Bréant 19th century was born in La Ferrière. Many painters attracted by the beauty of the site come to stay.

Discover its historical heritage: the forge of the 13th century, the halls of the 14th century and the 13th century church with its altar (one of the most beautiful in France listed historical monument). Take a ride in the lanes where you can admire beautiful houses in Norman corbel.
