La Bastide-Pradines is a municipality in the canton of Saint-Affrique and has 98 inhabitants.
It is one of the most beautiful high valley Cernon. Real eagle's nest, it is situated at 575 meters altitude.
Originally, this village was formerly called "La Bastide de Sernonenque.
Hospitaller Commandery, this picturesque village with its houses often Caussenard style, its fortified granary, is witness to a turbulent history of former times.
La Bastide-Pradines was given the 13th century by the Count of Rodez Hospitallers of Saint-Felix-de-Sorgue. They erected the tower to the attic, always visible at the end of the promontory, a church and several buildings surrounded by a wall.
The only economic activity, so far, is agriculture (mainly sheep farming for the production of sheep cheese).

- Millau is located at the crossroads of strategic Albi, Clermont-Ferrand and Montpellier. The famous gorges of the Tarn, a few miles from Millau is a hub of outdoor sports.
