Coming from Colmar, Kaysersberg is the last village before the country Welch, the valley to the Col du Bonhomme, a micro-history (see the Museum of Country Fréland Welch).
Be sure to do a walk through the vineyard (1:30 return) at the military cemetery of Sigolsheim (necropolis) located above the vineyards of Mambourg (Grand Cru). Lovely view of Kaysersberg and the Plain of Alsace.
It is possible to ski near Kaysersberg at the Station du Lac Blanc.
