The country house was fortified and constructed around 1180 by Bernard IV, Count of Armagnac.

The name of this country house seems to be of Celtic origin "ju" = tree "Guen" = wine, which probably tree wine.

If the vines are now hardly present, the wine fair in August continues the tradition of wine.

The collegiate St. Candide, located outside the walls of the fortified and built on a knoll shaded, is largely Romanesque, with the exception of a Gothic choir. The interior houses listed organ.

Since the esplanade in front of the college, you can admire a wide view over the valley below.

At the center of the town, the central hall, a feature common to houses, hosts the weekly market, while at night the structure is illuminated.

Every Wednesday morning, the village hall hosts the traditional market. In July and August, the market also Sunday morning.
