Jargeau is located 20 km upstream of Orleans, on the left bank of the Loire. Carnival Jargeau existed since time immemorial and its reputation has exceeded the limits of the Hexagon. The cuisine is an important gergolienne with Andouille Jargeau being honored by the Brotherhood of the Knights of Taste Andouille.
