Located in central Alsace, at the confluence of the Ill and Fecht, this small former fishing village of l'Ill is known in the world of haute cuisine well beyond French borders with its 3-star Michelin restaurant .

You will find the banks of the Ill punting still used today anglers.

Illhaeusern is located in an area known as the Ried wetland dominated by meadows and woods.
