Hanc is a town of 250 inhabitants located in the southern department of Deux-Sevres and the limit of the Charente.

The common Hanc is composed of villages and hamlets which Hanc the Breuil-Coiffault, Villemanan, The Fragnée, Old Town, La Touche, The Thatch, The Stop & Wood Vignault.
