The city is located in Alsace Haguenau North, about thirty miles from Strasbourg. 4th city of Alsace, Bas-Rhin second with over 35,000 inhabitants, Haguenau is a true communications hub, which has its location, always acted as a hub. Haguenau is located in the middle of a vast forest of 14,000 hectares. This range of greenery is a true home of calm and beauty nestling in the heart of Alsace in the north.

Founded around 1115 by Frederick the Borgne, a vassal of the emperor, Haguenau owes its development to the Emperor Frederick Barbarossa first, sixth and Henri Frederic second resided there many times.

After a rich and turbulent (capital of the Decapolis, double fire, annexation to Germany is rebuilding ...), Haguenau to become today the largest center of employment and services of the Northern Alsace.
