Grimaud is a medieval village which lies on the hills of the Gulf of St. Tropez, in the heart of the Massif des Maures, Var. This small village, it should not be confused with the nearby Port Grimaud (lake city built by the architect Spoerry) has retained all the charm of a medieval town: narrow cobbled streets, Romanesque church, ruins of a 11th century castle, ramparts and renovated historic houses.

Grimaud has a long history and rich cultural heritage:
The castle of the 11th century listed building, owned by the Earl of Senard (festival of world music The Grimaldines each summer).
The St. Michael's Church: dating from the 11th century it was the largest in the region for a long time.
Grimaud several chapels: the Chapel of Our Lady of Queste, the Saint-Roch and the Chapel of the Penitents.
The valley of the Fairy Bridge: circuit walk to explore the natural and cultural heritage of the village. The Fairy Bridge is an ancient aqueduct.
